FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
July 30, 2014
Vancouver, BC – CONNECT – BC’s Food + Drink + Lodging Expo is pleased to announce that we will be working with the Canadian Professional Bartenders Association (CPBA) to develop programming and events at CONNECT that will educate and inspire anyone involved in the liquor industry!
CONNECT and the CPBA have come together with a common purpose: to provide education and engaging networking opportunities for their members and delegates. The CPBA will be working with CONNECT to develop a variety of liquor-related events that will take place on the tradeshow floor in what will be known as the CPBA Beverage Zone. From educational seminars, to tastings, to cocktail mixing demonstrations and interactive workshops, the CPBA Beverage Zone will be one of the most popular areas of the Show – not just because of the samples, but also because of the learning that will take place.
“CONNECT presents an exciting opportunity for liquor-related business owners and operators to recharge their business creativity, get current with industry trends, and network with colleagues,” commented Trevor Kallies, President of the CPBA. “We believe that this partnership will further strengthen relationships between liquor suppliers and purchasers while connecting the people behind bars and who own the bars with the Brands and products they pour.”
Poma Dhaliwal, President of the Alliance of Beverage Licensees of BC said, “CONNECT will bring together restaurant, bar, nightclub, and LRS operators from across BC to see the latest in technology, products and services from the industry’s leading suppliers, and we are thrilled to have the CPBA on board to help us really engage the liquor industry in BC.”
Registration for CONNECT will open in late August and more information on the tradeshow and associated events can be found at www.connectshow.com.
